AltspaceVR is an emerging SocialVR platform owned by Microsoft enabling Immersive Virtual Reality teleconferencing inside simulated venues. Similarly to Facebook’s upcoming Horizon platform, AltspaceVR is a  novel, convergent infrastructure for communication, entertainment, conferencing, education, training, media and business use-cases.
