GOOGLE: Digital Services Act package: open public Consultation

Google’s response to the European Commission’s consultation on the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the New Competition Tool (NCT) :

We recognise that the evolution of the Internet has prompted the European Commission and EU national governments to consider  updating the regulatory framework governing online services. At Google we are committed to being a constructive partner in this process. We outline our perspective on the EU’s effort to build a more responsible, more innovative, and more helpful internet for everyone. In that spirit and based on our experience of building products which help people and create economic opportunity for European businesses, we express our support for sensible regulation and highlight areas of concern where more clarity is needed.
